The Black dart is a Ranged throwing weapon in RuneScape 3. It is a deadly dart with a black tip. You need 25 Ranged to wield it. Each dart has 240 ability damage, 381 accuracy, and a range of 4 squares.
Black darts are rare. They are the only conventional darts that cannot be made with Fletching. The only way to get them, other than trading with players, is by killing Elite Dark Rangers. In the past, soldiers in Burthorpe dropped them too.
These darts have a special use. They are one of only two ranged weapons that can harm the Tormented wraith. The other is the black knife. This makes Black darts a must-have if you want to fight that monster.
Black darts are tradeable, stackable, and weigh nothing, so they are easy to carry in bulk. They can also be disassembled for Invention. Taking apart 50 darts always gives one Knightly component, and they can give Simple parts, Blade parts, Spiked parts, Sharp components, or Swift components. Grab a stack of Black darts and add this rare weapon to your collection.
