The Black ewe (unchecked) is a female sheep for player owned farms in RuneScape 3. It is a members only item. You need level 35 Farming to check it. Checking the ewe shows what traits it has. Once checked, you can place it in a medium pen on Manor Farm.

This sheep gives black wool when you gather produce from it. Each harvest gives 3 black wool every time. It also drops muck, which is a type of animal dropping. The ewe eats flowers, fruits, and vegetables.

Black ewes can breed with other sheep. The breeding cycle takes 1 hour and 40 minutes, with a 45 percent success chance. Checking the animal gives Farming XP at each growth stage, from 125 XP as a child up to 281.2 XP as an adult. You can sell the animal to Ralph, the sheep hugger.

The unchecked version is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to move and store. It weighs almost nothing at 0.001 kg. It cannot be alchemised or disassembled, and it is always lost on death. This is a solid pick for players who want black wool and steady Farming XP.
