Description

The Black helm (h3) is a heraldic version of the black helm in RuneScape 3. It is a possible reward from an easy clue scroll in the Treasure Trails Distraction and Diversion. The helm has a heraldic design that makes it stand out from the normal black helm.

This is a tier 25 melee tank helm. It needs level 25 to equip. It has the same stats as the regular black helm, so it is a pure cosmetic swap. It gives 76.2 armour, a 250 life points bonus, and small damage reduction of 0.5% in PvM and 0.9375% in PvP. It has no prayer bonus and it lowers Ranged, Magic, and Necromancy accuracy.

Heraldic armour cannot be made with the Smithing skill, and players cannot decorate it. That makes clue scrolls the only in-game source, so this helm is a nice pickup for players who want the look without the clue hunting.

The helm can be combined with matching heraldic pieces at the Grand Exchange to form the Black heraldic armour set 3 (lg) or (sk). It can also be disassembled, and it always gives 1 Fortunate component.
