Description

The Blade of Avaryss shard is a piece of a powerful weapon in RuneScape 3. Collect 120 of these shards and combine them to create the Blade of Avaryss.

The Blade of Avaryss is an off-hand melee weapon that needs 85 Attack to use. It hits with the accuracy of a tier 90 weapon and the damage of a tier 80 weapon. It uses the Stab style and attacks at the fastest speed. It has 2458 accuracy and 384 ability damage. Pair it with the Blade of Nymora, its main-hand version, for a strong dual-wield melee setup.

The blade degrades after 60,000 charges of combat, which is at least 10 hours of fighting. Repair NPCs like Bob in Lumbridge can fix it, or you can use an armour stand in a player-owned house. A full repair costs 1,500,000 coins before discounts.

The blade normally drops from the Twin Furies in the Heart of Gielinor, but the drop rate is very rare. Shards let players build the weapon without grinding boss kills. The blade is members only and can also be broken down at a dragonkin anvil for demonic essence, an ingredient for the masterwork 2h sword.
