Description
The Blamish red shell (round) is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. It is a red-and-black snail shell from the Mort Myre swamp. The shell is dropped by round-shelled Blood Blamish Snails, which are level 14 monsters. Each snail always drops one shell.
The main use for this shell is Crafting. With level 15 Crafting, players can use a chisel on the shell to make a Blood'n'tar snelm (round). This gives 32.5 Crafting experience. The snelm is a helmet made from the shell, which looks protective.
The shell is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to buy, sell, or carry in bulk as notes. It weighs 10 kg. It cannot be bought from a store. It has a High Alchemy value of 90 coins and a Low Alchemy value of 60 coins.
The shell can also be disassembled for Invention. Disassembly gives 0.1 XP and has a 98.9% base junk chance. It mostly gives Simple parts, with a small 1 in 100 chance of Variable components.
This item is a good pick for players training Crafting or collecting snelm helmets.
