Description
The chisel is a basic tool in RuneScape 3. It is used most in the Crafting skill. With a chisel, players can cut and shape hard non-metal items like gems and limestone. It also works in Fletching, where it cuts gems into bolt tips.
The chisel fits on the tool belt, so it does not need to take up bag space. It can even work from the tool belt for some quest actions. One example is the Shilo Village quest, where a bone shard is used with a chisel to make a bone key. A chisel can also cut a large block of granite into smaller blocks for Summoning ingredients.
This tool is tradeable and noteable. It is not equipable and does not stack. It weighs 0.453 kg. On death, it is always kept outside a dangerous area. It can be disassembled, and it most often gives Simple parts.
Every crafter needs a chisel. It is one of the most used tools in the game, and it has been part of RuneScape since January 2001. Any player who wants to cut gems or work with limestone should keep one close.
