The bronze crossbow is a Ranged weapon in RuneScape 3. It has no level requirements, so any player can wield it. This makes it a good starter weapon for new Ranged training.

It is a Tier 5 main hand weapon. It has 150 accuracy, 48 ability damage, and a range of 7. It uses the Bolts style and attacks at the fastest speed. It gives no armour bonus and weighs 2 kg. Crossbows use bolts as ammo.

The bronze crossbow is also needed to build the Yanille and Falador hidey-holes. This gives it a use even for players who do not need it for combat.

Players can make one with level 9 Fletching by adding a crossbow string to an unstrung bronze crossbow. This gives 6 Fletching experience. The item is tradeable, noteable, and free to play. It can also be disassembled for parts like Connector parts, Tensile parts, and Spiked parts.

The bronze crossbow is the second least accurate crossbow in the game. Only the phoenix crossbow is weaker. It is a simple, cheap weapon that fills an early gear slot or a hidey-hole need.
