Buy RS3 Bronze square shield

Description

The bronze square shield is a basic melee shield in RuneScape 3. It sits in the shield slot and needs only level 1 Defence to wear. This makes it a good pick for brand new characters who want some extra protection right away.

The shield gives 30 armour and a 0.5% PvM damage reduction. It works best with melee combat, since it lowers your accuracy with magic and ranged attacks. It weighs 3.628 kg and is always kept on death outside dangerous areas.

Players can smith this shield at a forge and anvil using 2 bronze bars, which grants 30 Smithing experience. It also drops from monsters like goblins, zombies, cave goblins, and Dragith Nurn. One respawns on the second floor of the Rogues' Castle in the Wilderness.

The shield is tradeable, lendable, and noteable. It can also be disassembled for parts like cover parts, base parts, and deflecting parts.
