Description

The Bruise blue snelm (pointed) is a members-only helmet in RuneScape 3. It is a pointed snail shell with a moody blue color. The shell comes from a snail in Mort Myre Swamp. Any player can wear it because there are no requirements.

This snelm is best known for clue scrolls. A level 2 medium Treasure Trail asks for a "pointed blue snail helmet" in one of Uri's emote clues. Only this pointed version works for the clue. The round version does not count. Snelms are also useful in the Temple Trekking and Burgh de Rott Ramble minigames, where they give extra protection against giant snails.

The helmet has no combat stat bonuses and weighs 2 kg. It is tradeable, equipable, and noteable. It can also be disassembled as Clothing, with materials like Cover parts, Simple parts, Padded parts, and Variable components.

Players can make one by using a chisel on a Blamish blue shell (pointed). This needs level 15 Crafting and gives 32.5 Crafting experience. It can also drop from Ravenous ghouls at a rate of 2 in 128.
