Buy RS3 Cactus seed

Description

The Cactus seed is a Farming seed in RuneScape 3. It grows into a cactus that gives cactus spines. You need level 55 Farming to plant it.

Plant one seed in a cactus patch. There are patches in Al Kharid, the Imperial District in Menaphos, and near the northern totem hotspot on Anachronia. The cactus takes 9 hours and 20 minutes to grow. When it is done, you can harvest cactus spines. The base yield is 3 spines per harvest, and the cactus regrows one spine every 20 minutes after that.

This seed is a good source of Farming XP. Planting gives 66.5 XP, checking the health gives 374 XP, and each spine you harvest gives 25 XP. You can pay a nearby farmer 6 cadava berries to protect the patch from disease. After the hard Desert Tasks, the Al Kharid and Menaphos patches become disease free.

The seed is stackable and tradeable. It can also be disassembled for Organic parts and sometimes Living components. Growing a cactus in Al Kharid and harvesting its spines counts toward the 1001 Kharidian Spikes achievement.
