Description

The orange cape is a thick orange cape for RuneScape 3. It goes in the cape slot and works as a cosmetic item. It has no combat requirements and gives no armour, damage, or accuracy stats. Players wear it to add a splash of orange to any outfit.

This cape is made by using orange dye on a regular cape, which drops from Highwaymen. Dyeing it needs only level 1 Crafting and gives 2.5 Crafting experience. Any colour of regular cape can be used as the base, including black, blue, green, pink, purple, red, or yellow. The orange cape can also be re-dyed into other colours the same way.

The orange cape is tradeable, equipable, and noteable, but it does not stack. It weighs 0.453 kg. It can be disassembled as a Clothing item for 0.3 disassembly XP, with a 98.9% base junk chance. Possible materials include Cover parts, Simple parts, Padded parts, and Variable components.

The orange cape is a free-to-play item and is not needed for any quest. It has been in the game since 8 December 2001, making it a classic piece of RuneScape fashion.
