Description

Cashmere is an Archaeology material in RuneScape 3. It is a high quality wool sheared from the fleece of goats. It is a members-only item and needs level 66 Archaeology to obtain. Cashmere is tradeable, noteable, and can be stored in the material storage container.

Players use cashmere to restore artefacts at an Archaeologist's workbench with Archaeologist's tools. It helps restore the animal doll, backstrap loom, and initiate's kaunake at level 66. It is also used for the incense burner at level 75, bloodwine at level 82, and the bloodletting dagger at level 88. Some of these artefacts need up to 30 cashmere each, so players often need a large supply.

Cashmere comes from material caches and excavation sites. The material cache at the Wendlewick watchtower always gives one, after partial completion of Visions of Havenhythe. It can also come from weaver's hut debris, mossy peat, shrine debris, cauldron debris, and the blood altar excavation hotspot. Buying cashmere saves time spent digging for it, so players can move straight to restoring artefacts and gaining Archaeology experience.
