Buy RS3 Cat staff

Description

The Cat staff is a members-only magic staff in RuneScape 3. It came out on 4 August 2010 as part of the Elite Treasure Trail update. The staff shows the carved head of a curious cat. It is a tier 40 magic weapon that goes in the main hand slot.

The Cat staff gives the same bonuses as a mystic air staff, plus an extra +3 prayer bonus. It has 628 accuracy and a spell-casting range of 8. It does not give free runes like other animal staves. You can still cast spells with it as long as you have runes.

Wear the Cat staff with the Cat mask to perform the Cat dance emote. This makes it a fun item for players who like rare costume pieces from Treasure Trails.

The staff comes from elite Reward caskets, the Giant Oyster, Treasure turtles, and Magical Dice. It is tradeable and can be stored in the treasure chest at a player-owned house. It can also be disassembled for 18 experience and always gives one Fortunate component, which players use for Invention.
