Cheese is a food item in RuneScape 3 that heals 200 life points when eaten. It is a simple snack, but its real value comes from cooking. Players use cheese to make popular dishes like pizza and a baked potato with cheese.

Cheese is also needed for quests. In the Witch's House quest, players drop cheese to lure a mouse. It is used in the Rat Catchers quest too, and it helps with an easy Falador Task.

Making cheese takes work. A player needs level 48 Cooking to churn a bucket of milk into a cheese wheel. The wheel must then be sliced with a knife or bronze wire to get cheese. Each slice gives 4 Cooking experience. Buying cheese skips all of that.

Cheese is light at 0.2 kg, and it is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to store and move. It can also be disassembled for Organic parts. Whether a player needs it for a quest, a recipe, or quick healing, cheese is a handy item to keep in the bank.
