Description
The RS3 Knife is a simple tool with many uses in RuneScape 3. Players use it to cut logs for the Fletching skill and to make arrow shafts and other wooden items. It also slices fruits like oranges, bananas, lemons, limes, and pineapples for the Cooking skill.
The knife does more than cook and fletch. It slashes webs, cuts cacti in the Kharidian Desert to fill waterskins, and sets up deadfall traps for the Hunter skill. Players can also use it to cut cheese slices from a cheese wheel, chop tuna, sweetcorn, and tomatoes into bowls, hollow calquats to make kegs, scrape tree sap into a bucket, and turn a chocolate bar into chocolate dust. It even cuts fish during Barbarian Training at Baxtorian Falls.
The knife can be stored on the tool belt, so it does not take up space in the inventory. It is a non-members item, it is tradeable, and it weighs 0.453 kg. It cannot be equipped and does not stack. Its examine text reads "A dangerous looking knife." Seven knives are one of the ingredients of Iron Beer.
