Description

The Chicken egg (unchecked) is a members only item in RuneScape 3. It is used with the player-owned farm. Each egg holds either a common white hen or a rooster. You will not know which one until you check it.

Checking the egg needs level 28 Farming. This level cannot be boosted or assisted. When you check the egg from your backpack, it shows if it is a hen or a rooster. It also shows the traits the bird has. After checking, you can place it in a small pen at the player-owned farm. It will still be an egg in the pen, and it must grow into a chick over time.

This egg is a good pick for players who want to raise chickens at Manor Farm. Chickens are an easy way to start with the player-owned farm system.

The egg is tradeable and noteable, but it does not stack. It weighs 0.001 kg. It can also be disassembled for Invention, giving Simple parts most of the time or Variable components on rare occasions. In the game, these eggs come from Granny Potterington at the Farmers' Market at Manor Farm.
