Description

The Corrupt Vesta's longsword is a one-handed melee weapon in RuneScape 3. It only needs level 20 Attack to wield, so it is a great pick for pures with low attack levels. Since it is one-handed, you can use a shield with it too.

This sword is a tier 50 weapon with 850 accuracy and 306.3 ability damage. It uses the slash style. It has the accuracy of a rune longsword and the damage of a black longsword, all at just 20 Attack.

The sword degrades after 15 minutes of wielding, then it vanishes. It degrades even when you are not fighting. That gives you about 300 hits before it is gone. Once you wield it for about 30 seconds or use it in combat, it becomes untradeable and gets the word (deg) added to its name.

Many players skip using it in combat. Instead, they use it for smithing. With level 80 Smithing, a hammer, and an anvil, you can turn it into a revenant bane longsword, a revenant bane off-hand longsword, or a revenant bane 2h sword. These bane weapons deal bonus damage against revenants.
