Description

Croesus flakes are a members-only item in RuneScape 3. They are flakes of fungus dropped by Croesus, the giant fungal skilling boss in the Elder God Wars Dungeon. Each kill always drops 8 to 13 flakes. The flakes are tradeable, stackable, and weigh nothing.

Players want Croesus flakes because they are a key secondary ingredient for rewards from the Croesus Front. Their main use is finishing cryptbloom armour, a tier 90 magic tank set. Each incomplete piece needs flakes to complete, from 800 for the boots or gloves up to 1,600 for the top. This takes level 90 Crafting. The flakes are also used to repair cryptbloom armour.

Croesus flakes have other uses too. Ten flakes plus starbloom cloth make masterwork white cloth at 110 Crafting. Larger amounts go into the grasping rune pouch, the seed bag, and two skilling off-hands, Sana's fyrtorch and Tagga's corehammer. Items can be crafted right from the backpack.
