Description

The Dark ice sliver is an off-hand melee weapon in RuneScape 3. It is a dagger made from shards of pure, primordial ice. You need level 85 Attack to wield it. It is a tier 85 weapon, but it hits with the damage of a tier 88 weapon. It uses the stab style and gives a prayer bonus of 9.

The sliver has a passive effect called Chill. It has a 1% chance to give you a stack of Primordial Ice. Each stack grants Frostblades for 6 seconds. Frostblades add flat damage to all melee ability hits equal to 24% of your ability damage. This works very well with multi-hit abilities like Greater Flurry.

The weapon degrades over 60,000 charges of combat. A Repair NPC can fix it for 1,250,000 coins, or you can repair it for less at an armour stand. It can also be augmented with an augmentor to gain perks and equipment experience.

Later, you can combine it with a Frozen Core of Leng to upgrade it into the Dark Sliver of Leng, a tier 95 weapon. This makes it a strong pick for any melee build.
