Description
Dense honeycomb is a special item in RuneScape 3. Players make it at the player-owned farm. It comes from a beehive behind one of the large pens. You put rosemary in the hive and collect the honeycomb about one hour later. You need level 25 Farming to harvest it, and each one gives 22.5 Farming experience. You can also make one by combining 12 honeycomb shards at Farming level 1.
Dense honeycomb is a handy food for farm animals. Feeding it to an animal adds 10 grams to its weight. This does not work on animals still in their egg stage. Heavier animals matter at the farm, so this item helps players grow their stock.
It is also needed in the Tortle Combat miniquest. Bring a dense honeycomb and a kebab to Granny Potterington. She turns them into an extremely dense honeycomb, which can turn an adult or elder common brown rabbit into a plump rabbit.
Dense honeycomb is stackable and tradeable, so it is easy to store. It can also be disassembled for parts. Grab dense honeycomb to feed your animals and push your Farming goals in RS3.
