Description

Desert boots are members-only footwear in RuneScape 3. They are white boots, one of the few white-coloured boots in the game. They have no requirements to equip and no combat stats. They give 0 armour, 0 damage, and 0 accuracy. The boots are tradeable, noteable, and can be disassembled.

The main use of desert boots is heat protection. When worn as part of the desert clothing set, they help protect against desert heat and add 6 seconds between drinks of water. This means you use less water while walking through the Kharidian Desert.

Desert boots are also needed for the Tourist Trap quest. A full set of white desert robes is required, and the boots are traded to a slave miner for a slave outfit. This lets the player reach a deeper part of the mining camp.

These boots are the only piece of the desert set that cannot be dyed with black mushroom ink. They weigh 0.226 kg. When disassembled, they can give Cover parts, Simple parts, Padded parts, or Variable components, with a base junk chance of 98.9 percent.
