Description

Desert robes are a piece of desert clothing in RuneScape 3. They are part of the desert outfit, which protects players from the heat of the Kharidian Desert. Wearing this outfit slows down dehydration, so players do not need to drink from their waterskins as often. This makes long trips across the desert much easier.

Desert robes have no combat requirements, so any member can wear them. They give no armour or combat bonuses. The item is very light at 0.005 kg, and it is tradeable, equipable, and noteable. The outfit looks similar to the white desert gear known as Desert clothing.

In the game, the set can be obtained after finishing the third part of the Rogue Trader miniquest. Desert robes can also drop from Exiled kalphite workers, which are combat level 75, at a rate of 1 in 40.

Players who train Invention can also disassemble desert robes. Each robe gives 0.3 disassembly XP and can yield Cover parts, Simple parts, or Padded parts, with a rare chance of Variable components. Desert robes are a simple and useful item for any player heading into the desert.
