Desert sole is a food item in RuneScape 3. Each fish heals 1,450 life points when eaten. This makes it a solid food choice for training, slayer tasks, and other combat activities.

Desert sole comes from the city of Menaphos. Players catch raw desert sole in the Port district with level 52 Fishing. Cooking the raw fish needs level 52 Cooking and gives 142.5 Cooking experience per fish. Without cooking gauntlets, the fish can always burn. With cooking gauntlets, burning stops at level 81 Cooking.

The fish is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to buy, move, and store in bulk. It weighs 0.5 kg and cannot be stacked or worn. It can also be disassembled for Invention. Disassembly gives 1.5 experience and mostly yields Organic parts, with small chances for Crafted parts, Enhancing components, Healthy components, and Living components.
