Description

Raw desert sole is a fish in RuneScape 3. Players catch it in Menaphos with a fishing rod and fishing bait. It takes level 52 Fishing, and each catch gives 60 Fishing experience plus 3 reputation to your active Menaphos faction. You can find these fish in the East and West Port district spots and in the VIP skilling area.

This fish is great for training Cooking too. With level 52 Cooking, you can cook it on a range or a fire for 142.5 Cooking experience. The cooked fish, called desert sole, heals 1,450 life points when eaten. With cooking gauntlets, the fish stops burning at level 81.

Each catch also has a 1 in 3,000 chance to give a slimy egg. This egg unlocks the Squeck pet. You can also put raw desert sole in a trough to make fishy mush or variety mush.

Raw desert sole is a members item. It is tradeable and can be noted, so it is easy to stock up. Buying a batch is a simple way to train Cooking, gain Menaphos reputation items for your goals, or keep healing food on hand.
