Dinosaur hide is a tough hide from RuneScape 3. It is a members only item that comes from Big Game Hunter. Dinosaurs like Asciatops, Corbicula rex, Pavosaurus rex, and Malletops can each drop one hide at a 1 in 10 rate.

The main use for dinosaur hide is Crafting. Take it to a tanner and pay 25 coins per hide to turn it into dinosaur leather. Tanners work in Al Kharid, Varrock, Taverley, Canifis, Prifddinas, the Ranging Guild, and the Crafting Guild. With 93 Crafting, the leather can be made into dinosaurhide armour. This armour needs 75 Defence to wear, so it suits high level players who want strong ranged gear.

Dinosaur hide is tradeable and can be noted, which makes it easy to move in bulk. It weighs 3.175 kg. It can also be disassembled for Invention. Each hide gives 2.6 disassembly XP and breaks down into Simple parts most of the time, with a small 1 in 100 chance of Living components. The base junk chance is low at 0.6 percent.
