Description

The dragonstone is a purple gem in RuneScape 3. It is a members-only item used in Crafting and Fletching. Players want it because it makes some of the most useful jewellery in the game.

With a gold bar and the right mould at a furnace, a dragonstone can become a ring, necklace, bracelet, or amulet. These can be enchanted into strong items. The Ring of Wealth boosts the chance of rare drops. The Skills necklace and Combat bracelet teleport to guild entrances. The Amulet of glory gives stat bonuses and has several teleport options. With a platinum bar, dragonstones can also make higher-tier jewellery at levels 104 to 109.

For Fletching, a dragonstone can be cut with a chisel at level 71 into 12 dragon bolt tips. When enchanted, these become Dragon bolts (e). These level 70 bolts have a 5% chance to trigger Dragon's breath, which hits the target a second time with dragonfire.

Dragonstone jewellery is the lowest tier of gem jewellery that can be recharged. The gem is tradeable and can be disassembled for parts like precious components.
