Description

The elemental shield is a members-only shield made in the Elemental Workshop. It is created during and after the quest Elemental Workshop I. To wear the shield, players must finish that quest first.

The shield's main job is fighting wyverns. Players need it to defeat skeletal wyverns and wyverns, unless they use a wyrmfire potion or wear another shield like the dragonfire shield, mind shield, body shield, cosmic shield, or chaos shield.

It is a tier 1 magic class shield that fits in the shield slot. It has an armour rating of 22.0 and gives 0.1% PvM damage reduction. It weighs 0.226 kg. When wielded, the shield grows from the size of the player's fist to full size. This makes it one of the few items with an equipping animation.

The shield has other uses too. It is one of the items needed for the Fishing Guild crate hidey-hole, along with blue dragonhide chaps and a rune warhammer. It can also be a required item for an emote clue in Treasure Trails. Players who make one themselves need level 20 Smithing and an elemental bar.
