Description
The Eternal Magic Shortbow is a tier 99 ranged weapon in RuneScape 3. It needs level 99 Ranged to use. It is a members-only item that can be traded. The bow never degrades, so there is no repair cost. It goes in the weapon slot and uses arrows with a range of 7.
The base bow has tier 85 stats, with 85 damage and 85 accuracy. It can be upgraded five times with eternal magic logs at a fletching workbench. The final Mk. 5 version has tier 90 stats, with 90 damage and 90 accuracy. That makes it one of the few high-tier ranged weapons that never breaks down.
Making the bow needs level 100 Fletching. The base bow is made by adding a bowstring to an unstrung eternal magic shortbow. The full Mk. 5 upgrade uses 63 logs in total. Since that is more logs than a backpack can hold, players need an eternal magic wood box or a Beast of Burden to finish it. The Mk. 5 bow can also be turned into a martial version for extra Fletching experience, which uses up the bow.
