Description

The Extreme ranging (3) is a 3-dose combat potion in RuneScape 3. When a player drinks a dose, it boosts their Ranged level by 3 plus 15% of their level, rounded down. At level 94 Ranged, the boost reaches its max of 17 levels. The boost drops by 1 level every minute.

This potion is great for ranged combat training, bossing, and slayer tasks where extra Ranged levels mean more damage. It is a members-only item and it is tradeable.

Players can make this potion at level 92 Herblore by adding 5 grenwall spikes to a 3-dose super ranging potion, which grants 260 experience. It is also one of the key ingredients in the overload potion. At 96 Herblore, players combine it with extreme attack, extreme defence, extreme strength, extreme magic, extreme necromancy, and clean torstol to make an overload, which boosts many combat stats at once.

Six or more doses can be poured into a potion flask to make an extreme ranging flask, and no Herblore level is needed for that. The potion can also be disassembled with Invention for parts like delicate parts and organic parts.
