The Feral dinosaur (unchecked) is a farm animal for the Anachronia Dinosaur Farm in RuneScape 3. When you check it, it becomes a feral dinosaur with its own traits. You need level 97 Farming to check it, and this level cannot be boosted or assisted.

Feral dinosaurs are varanusaurs. They live in medium pens on the dinosaur farm and eat raw meat. They produce dinosaur claws and muck, and each one gives 60 dinosaur claws. Laniakea is the buyer for these dinosaurs. You can also breed them with any other varanusaur. The breeding cycle takes 13 hours and 20 minutes, with a 70% success chance.

Checking this animal gives good Farming XP. A child gives 5,500 XP, an adolescent gives 8,250 XP, an adult gives 16,500 XP, and an elder gives 24,750 XP.

This item is rare. It drops from level 160 Feral Dinosaurs at a rate of 1 in 750. Buying this unchecked dinosaur saves you many hours of hunting for the drop. It is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to move and store.
