Description
Dinosaur claws are a secondary Herblore ingredient in RuneScape 3. They are a members-only item that is tradeable and stackable, so they take up very little space in your bank.
Players want Dinosaur claws for high-level Herblore. They are used to make the Powerburst of opportunity (4), which needs Herblore level 103 to 107 and gives 1,050 experience. They are also used to make the Sticky bomb, which needs Herblore level 101 to 105 and gives 1,000 experience. Each recipe uses 2 Dinosaur claws, or just 1 if you have the Improved +2 recipe level.
In the game, Dinosaur claws drop from Feral dinosaurs and Ripper dinosaurs at the Ranch Out of Time. They also drop from Hypnotic dinosaurs. Buying them saves you the time it takes to hunt these level 97 dinosaurs yourself.
The claws can also be disassembled for Invention. Most of the time this gives Simple parts, with a small chance of Variable components. The item weighs nothing, has a Grand Exchange trade limit of 1000, and its examine text says they are much less terrifying without their owner.
