The Croesus spore sack needs 500 fungal algae along with other materials. Tagga's corehammer, also called the Croesus sporehammer, needs 5 fungal algae and other materials. That hammer is crafted at an Anvil with level 80 Crafting skill.

Fungal algae can also be disassembled. It gives Simple parts most of the time, with a small chance of Variable components.
