The poncho degrades as you fight. It lasts for 30,000 charges of combat. When it runs out, it turns back into a mycelium poncho web. You can repair it before that with ganodermic flakes, at 50 flakes per 1%. Repair needs 75 Crafting and some thread. You can also make one from scratch at 75 Crafting by sewing 5,000 flakes onto a poncho web, which gives 1,000 Crafting experience.

You can clean the poncho at any time. This returns the poncho web plus half of the remaining charges as flakes. The item weighs 9.9 kg, and its examine text reads: "A poncho encrusted with ganodermic flakes."
