Description
The gardening trowel is a tool used in the Farming skill in RuneScape 3. Farming is a members-only skill. The trowel does two main jobs. It fills a plant pot with earth from a weeded patch. It also plants a tree seed into that pot so a tree can start to grow.
Players use the trowel with a plant pot and many kinds of tree seeds to make seedlings. This includes apple, oak, willow, maple, magic, palm, elder, and spirit seeds, among others. It can also be used with a white tree shoot and a plant pot to make a potted white tree shoot.
The trowel is easy to keep on hand. The tool leprechaun can store one, and it can also go on the tool belt. The item is tradeable and noteable. It is not equipable and does not stack. It weighs 0.056 kg. It can be disassembled for Simple parts most of the time, with a small chance of Variable components.
The gardening trowel was added to the game on 11 July 2005. Its examine text reads: "Not suitable for archaeological digs."
