Gold ore is an item in RuneScape 3. Its examine text says "This needs refining." Players normally get it by mining gold rocks, which needs level 40 Mining. Each ore gives 65 Mining experience. The main use of gold ore is smelting. At level 40 Smithing, players can smelt one gold ore at a furnace to make one gold bar.
