Description
Silver ore is a mining resource in RuneScape 3. Players mine it from silver rocks, which need level 20 Mining. Higher Mining levels and better pickaxes let players gather it faster.
The main use for silver ore is smelting. At a furnace, it turns into a silver bar at level 20 Smithing and gives 13 experience. Players can also smelt it with the Superheat Item spell, which uses a nature rune and fire runes. Silver rocks appear in many mines, such as the Al Kharid mine, the Burthorpe mine, and the Dig Site Dungeon mine. Players with level 22 Divination can even transmute it, turning 2 bright energy and 3 iron ore into 1 silver ore.
