Description
The Great gunkan is a members-only sushi food in RuneScape 3. It heals 1,500 life points right away when you eat it. Then it keeps healing 150 life points every 1.2 seconds, nine times in a row. That adds up to 2,850 life points in total over 10.8 seconds.
This makes it one of the best healing foods in the game. Only the calorie bomb (sailfish) heals more outside of Daemonheim. You need level 91 Constitution to get the full healing amount.
The healing over time works on its own timer. It stacks with other effects like the Enhanced Excalibur and baron sharks, so you can use them all at once. You can also eat other food while the gunkan effect is active, and it will not stop the healing.
Great gunkan is made at level 91 Cooking from a raw great white shark and kelp. You must unlock the sushi perk in the Aquarium first, which makes this food a lot of work to make yourself. It is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to store and carry for boss fights and hard combat.
