The Greater Sunshine ability codex is an item in RuneScape 3. When you read it, you unlock Greater Sunshine, an upgraded version of the Sunshine ability. You need level 76 Magic to use the ability.

Greater Sunshine is a Magic Ultimate ability. It costs 100 percent adrenaline and has a 60 second cooldown. It hits a single target for 315 percent ability damage. The ability makes a sunbeam over your spot, covering a 7 by 7 area. While you stand in the beam, your Magic attacks deal 1.5 times damage. If your target enters the beam, it takes extra damage over time.

Greater Sunshine lasts longer than the normal Sunshine ability. It matches the length of Sunshine with the Planted Feet perk, but it also keeps the damage effect that Planted Feet removes. The Planted Feet perk does not make Greater Sunshine last any longer.

The codex can be made with level 85 Invention, using a Codex of lost knowledge and 20 Cywir components. The item is tradeable, noteable, and can be disassembled. It weighs almost nothing at 0.001 kg. This codex is a strong pick for any Magic user who wants more damage.
