Description
The green dragonhide body is ranged armour for RuneScape 3. It goes in the torso slot. It is the second best body armour for free-to-play rangers. Only the blue dragonhide body is better. You need level 40 Defence to wear it.
This armour gives 144.4 Armour and a 600 life point bonus. It also cuts damage by 0.8% in PvM and 2.4% in PvP. It works well with Ava's devices and will not block them. It has accuracy penalties of -216 for melee and magic styles, so it is best for ranged combat.
The body is part of the green dragonhide armour set. The full set includes a coif, body, vambraces, chaps, boots, and a shield. Players can also craft the body at level 40 Crafting using three green dragon leathers.
Trimmed and gold-trimmed versions exist from level 2 Treasure Trails. They have the same stats and the same level 40 Defence requirement. The item is tradeable, lendable, and noteable. It is a solid pick for any free-to-play ranger who wants strong torso armour without a high level cost.
