Green dragonhide is the rough, scaly hide of a green dragon in RuneScape 3. Green dragons always drop one hide, and brutal green dragons drop two. It is a key material for players who want to train Crafting or make ranged armour.

You can tan the hide into green dragon leather. A tanner will do it for a fee, or you can cast the Lunar spell Make Leather. Tanners work in Al Kharid, Varrock, Taverley, Canifis, the Ranging Guild, and the Crafting Guild. With a needle and thread, the leather becomes green dragonhide armour.

Green dragonhide armour is the second best ranged armour for free players. Only blue dragonhide armour beats it. Each piece needs level 40 Defence to wear. The set has a coif, body, vambraces, chaps, boots, and a shield.

The hide is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs 3.175 kg. It can also be disassembled for Simple parts or, on rare occasions, Living components. Green dragonhide became a free-to-play item on 9 October 2017. It is a solid pick for skillers, ironmen alternatives, and any player gearing up for ranged combat.
