Description

Grifolic flakes are a stackable item in RuneScape 3. Monsters called Grifolaroos and Grifolapines drop them in the Polypore Dungeon. Players use these flakes to turn mycelium web armour into grifolic armour, a magic armour set.

The flakes are sewn onto mycelium webs. Each armour piece needs a set number of flakes. The visor needs 400 flakes and a visor web. The leggings need 1,200 flakes and a leggings web. The poncho needs 3,500 flakes and a poncho web.

Grifolic flakes also help with high level crafting. Players need 1,000 flakes to make masterwork green cloth. This cloth is combined with 10 starbloom cloth, 1,000 fungal flakes, and 1,000 ganodermic flakes at a loom. It takes level 110 Crafting. The cloth is then used to craft masterwork magic equipment.

Buying grifolic flakes saves time. Farming them means long trips to the Polypore Dungeon and fighting high level monsters over and over. With a stack of flakes ready, players can upgrade their armour or work toward masterwork magic gear right away. The item is tradeable, so it is easy to add to any account.
