Description

Grimy spirit weed is a herb in RuneScape 3 that has not been cleaned yet. You need level 35 Herblore to clean it, and each one gives 7.8 Herblore experience. Once clean, spirit weed is used to make summoning potions at level 40 Herblore.

This herb is a smart pick if you want to train Herblore or stock up on summoning potion supplies. It can also be used to make supercompost without being cleaned first. If you have Invention, you can disassemble it for materials like organic parts.

Players can grow grimy spirit weed from a spirit weed seed at level 36 Farming, but buying it saves you the wait. It also drops from monsters like black demons and mutated jadinkos, and devil's snares drop it in larger amounts. It is one of the few herbs you cannot get from the Sorceress's Garden minigame, which can make it harder to gather on your own.

Grimy spirit weed is a members item and it is tradeable. Fun fact: it is the only herb that just looks darker instead of dirty. Grab a stack and get your Herblore training moving.
