The spirit weed seed is a members-only Farming seed in RuneScape 3. Plant it in a herb patch to grow grimy spirit weed herbs. You need level 36 Farming to plant it.
Each seed takes 80 minutes to grow through four stages. Planting gives 32 Farming XP and each harvest gives 36 XP. A patch gives at least 3 herbs, and better compost can raise that number. The crop farmer outfit and master farmer outfit give a small chance to save a harvest life.
Spirit weed farming can be a good way to make profit in short runs. Items like magic secateurs, juju farming potions, and the scroll of life can boost your yield or return seeds after harvest. With eight herb patches in a full run, players can gather a large number of clean spirit weed herbs in just a few minutes.
The spirit weed seed is tradeable, stackable, and weighs nothing, so it is easy to store in bulk. It can also be disassembled for organic parts and living components. In game, these seeds drop from monsters like moss giants, dust devils, and strykewyrms, or come from bird's nests.
