Description
The Hellhound scroll (Soul Food) is a members-only summoning scroll in RuneScape 3. It lets your hellhound familiar cast its special move, Soul Food. This move heals the familiar for 10% of its max life points, which is a 2,000 life point heal. You need level 45 Summoning to use the scroll.
The hellhound is a defensive familiar. It absorbs 20% of the damage dealt to you, so keeping it alive matters in long fights. Soul Food is a simple way to top up its health. Each cast costs 20 special move points and one scroll. With a spirit cape, the cost drops to 16 points. Casting the move also gives 19.5 Summoning experience.
The scroll is tradeable and stackable, and it weighs nothing. You can store up to 500 scrolls on the familiar, but it will not fire stored scrolls on its own. Scrolls are made by using a binding contract (hellhound) on a Summoning obelisk, which gives 20 scrolls per pouch. During the Amlodd Voice of Seren in Prifddinas, the Amlodd obelisk gives 24 scrolls per pouch instead.
