The holy symbol is a piece of silver jewellery in RuneScape 3. It is made from a silver bar and blessed by the power of Saradomin. When worn, it gives a Prayer bonus of 8. This helps your prayer points last longer in combat.
The holy symbol has a big use in the God Wars Dungeon. If you wear it there, creatures aligned with Saradomin will not attack you. This makes it much easier to move through their part of the dungeon.
It also helps in quests. You need a holy symbol to make a blessed hatchet during the Animal Magnetism quest. You can also use it with the Prayer book from The Great Brain Robbery quest to cure any poison.
The holy symbol is useful against vampyres too. While wearing it in a fight, a vampyre can be weakened. Its Attack, Strength, Defence, and Magic can drop by 25 percent.
The holy symbol is very light and has no combat class or tier. It looks silver in your inventory but appears gold when worn. It is a smart pick for prayer training, quests, and the God Wars Dungeon.
