Description

Infernal ashes are a Prayer training item in RuneScape 3. They come from arch demons like black demons, abyssal demons, tormented demons, nechryael, Kal'gerion demons, Ripper demons, and most demon bosses. Players buy them to level Prayer fast without hunting the drops themselves.

There are many ways to use them. Scatter them for 62.5 Prayer experience each. Offer them at a regular altar for 93.8 experience or at the Fort Forinthry Chapel for 187.5 experience. Use them at a gilded altar with both incense burners lit for 218.75 experience. Take them to the Ectofuntus for 250 experience each with no bone grinding needed. You can also fill an infernal urn while killing demons. It takes 25 ashes per urn and gives 1,875 experience when teleported.

Infernal ashes are often a cheaper option than dragon bones for Prayer training. They can also craft infernal magic and infernal yew incense sticks. Players with Invention can disassemble them for Organic parts, with small chances of Ethereal and Pious components. They are tradeable, can be noted, and need only level 1 Prayer to use.
