Description
Iron bolts are crossbow ammo in RuneScape 3. They are tier 10 Ranged ammo, so you can use them at level 10 Ranged. Any crossbow can fire them. They deal 96 to 144 ability damage. Free players can use them too.
These bolts are stackable, so a big pile takes up only one spot in your bag. They are tradeable and weigh nothing. They fit in the bolts slot of your gear.
Iron bolts are handy for training Ranged at low levels. They are also useful for skilling. At level 41 Fletching, you can add pearl bolt tips to them to make pearl bolts. Pearl bolts can then be enchanted into pearl bolts (e).
You can also disassemble iron bolts for Invention. Each disassembly needs 50 bolts and can give base parts, head parts, spiked parts, or stunning components.
Stock up on iron bolts if you want cheap ammo for a new Ranged account, materials for Fletching, or parts for Invention. A large stack means you can shoot, craft, or disassemble without stopping to make more.
