Description

Krandorian hops are a Farming crop in RuneScape 3. Players grow them by planting Krandorian seeds in a hops patch at level 21 Farming. Their main use is in Cooking. Four Krandorian hops and level 39 Cooking are needed to brew dragon bitter.

Growing these hops takes time. The crop grows in stages and takes over an hour to finish. Planting the seeds gives Farming experience, and each hop harvested gives 19.5 experience. A farmer near the patch will protect the crop from disease if you pay them 3 sacks of cabbages. You can also give 15 Krandorian hops to a farmer to look after a godly grapevine.

Hops like these cannot be bought from shops. They only come from farming or from other players, so having a stack ready saves time. That makes them handy for players training Cooking or Farming who do not want to grow every crop themselves.

The name is a nod to the isle of Crandor from the Dragon Slayer quest. The dragon bitter link points to Elvarg, the dragon that destroyed Crandor.
