Description
Magic pyre logs are special logs in RuneScape 3. Players use them in the Shades of Mort'ton minigame, the Legacy of Seergaze quest, and the Columbarium. They need level 80 Firemaking to light.
These logs are made by using four doses of sacred oil on magic logs. Making them gives 60 Firemaking experience. Buying them ready to use saves the time it takes to gather magic logs and sacred oil.
Magic pyre logs can cremate the remains of Loar, Phrin, Riyl, Asyn, and Fiyr Shades. Cremating a shade gives 404.5 Firemaking experience. Place the logs and a set of shade remains on a funeral pyre near Mort'ton, then light it. The shade is released, and a key or some coins will appear. The type of key depends on the shade remains, not the logs.
After the Legacy of Seergaze quest, players can also use magic pyre logs to cremate vyre corpses in the Columbarium under Paterdomus temple. Cremating vyre corpses with magic pyre logs yields a Shiny columbarium key.
These logs are a solid pick for players training Firemaking and Prayer while earning keys and coins.
