Description
The RS3 Mahogany plank is a top tier building material in RuneScape 3. It is made from mahogany logs and is used in the Construction skill. It is the highest level plank of the four types, and also the most expensive one.
Each mahogany plank gives 140 Construction experience when used to make furniture. Players use these planks to build furniture in a player-owned house or to make flatpacks. They also work for Construction Contracts and building at Fort Forinthry. Many players buy mahogany planks in bulk to power-train Construction by building and removing Flotsam prawnbrokers.
Mahogany planks are needed in two quests. Cold War uses one plank to make bongo drums. Catapult Construction uses 10 planks to build the catapult.
The plank can be stored in a plank box. When it is in a plank box, it still works for building as if it were in the backpack. The item is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs 0.8 kg. It can also be disassembled for Invention parts. Stock up on mahogany planks to train Construction fast and skip hours of making planks yourself.
